01 / OUR BEGINNINGS
It started with a simple idea.
Carl Potts believed undiscovered musicians deserved a place where their music could be heard. He imagined a website that could connect people with artists they might never otherwise discover.
He entrusted that idea to his nephew, Michael Daragan, who began figuring out how to bring it to life. The first result was a simple homepage—one Carl was able to see before he passed away.
From that beginning, Michael continued building Undiscovered One, expanding Carl's original vision into a growing home for independent creativity.

An idea entrusted. A vision carried forward.
Michael Daragan didn't begin with a finished blueprint. He began with a challenge from his uncle Carl: create a place where undiscovered musicians could be heard.
He built the first homepage, learned what it would take to go further, and continued developing Undiscovered One into something larger than either had originally imagined.
